This research is motivated by three things, namely the management
system in an effort to develop tourism objects by the state civil apparatus of the tourism office is
still not optimal, the target and realization of levies for the tourism sector from year to year is still
not maximized, and there is no regional income that goes into the treasury. areas of the tourism
sector in 2020. Objectives: The purpose of this study was to determine, analyze, and describe the
performance of the State Civil Apparatus at the Tourism Office of Muna Regency.Methods: This
study uses a qualitative descriptive method with an inductive approach and analysis of the
performance of the state civil apparatus according to the theory of effectiveness according to
Dwiyanto by covering several dimensions, productivity, service quality, responsiveness,
responsibility, accountability. Data collection techniques by means of observation, interviews and
documentation. Results/Findings: The performance of the state civil apparatus of the tourism
office of Muna Regency, Southeast Sulawesi Province has not been maximized, marked by the
achievement of performance indicators, but every year the apparatus always makes improvements
and performance improvements.Conclusion: The performance of the Muna Regency Tourism
Office apparatus in managing Muna Regency tourism objects has not been maximized. This can be
seen from the achievements of the five performance indicators. The inhibiting factor in the
management of tourism objects in Muna Regency, namely the facilities and infrastructure
supporting tourism are still inadequate. One of them is the existence of public toilets and changing
rooms and the availability of parking spaces that are still narrow. In addition, the cleanliness of the
tourist attraction environment has not been maintained, as well as the weak administration and
supervision system of the Tourism Office
